Qualification

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist: Master’s in Rural Development or equivalent.  15 years of experience in project/program implementation, management or monitoring, of which at least 5 years in monitoring and evaluating public sector development projects including social audits.  In-depth knowledge of rural economic development issues in India, preferably in the fisheries and aquaculture sector  Experience of using the state of art project monitoring tools including IT-based tools.  Proven capacity to work hard and produce quality products within tight deadlines.  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Gender Specialist: Masters’ degree in Demography/Sociology or a related field in the Social Sciences, with emphasis on qualitative research methods.  10 years of relevant experience of working on projects or analytical work in the field of social inclusion, gender and development issues in rural economic sectors in India  Preference will be for above experience in fisheries sector  Expertise in analytical works and implementation programs in promoting (i) enterprise development and (ii) decisionmaking roles of women and other disadvantaged individuals and groups  Extensive experience in research and policy-level analysis.  Substantial experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of gender projects.  Proven capacity to work hard and produce quality products within tight deadlines  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Aquaculture Specialist:  Masters in Fisheries/Zoology or equivalent.  At least 7 years of technical experience in the field of Fisheries/Aq Exposure and experience in implementing Good Aquaculture Practices.  Proven project management skills  Proven capacity to work hard and produce quality products within tight deadlines.  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Insurance Specialist:  MBA with 5 years of Experience in the field of insurance, designing insurance products etc.  Strong working knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines  Preference would be given to candidate worked with international organizations like World Bank, ADB, AFD, KFW, GIZ etc.
Value Chain Specialist – Ornamental Fish:  Masters in Fisheries/ Zoology Fisheries) or equivalent  At least 10 years of experience in research and development in Ornamental Fish Production, Technologies and Trade  At least 5 years of experience in working with a private sector business preferably with a focus on business development  Exposure to International Ornamental Fisheries Industry.  Proven capacity to work hard and produce quality products within tight deadlines.  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
